In the last 2 videos, we covered Step 1: Picking a card from the card catalog, and Step 2: Personalizing Your Card.

In this video, we’ll Cover Step 3: Choosing The Options for Sending Your Card. So let’s pick up where we left off.

Next thing we need to do is tell the system who we want to send our card to. We can do that 2 different ways.

The first way is to fill in the address information in this form. The second way is to choose to send out a card to someone from the built-in Contact Manager.

Since this is a Sample Gift Account just like the one you are getting, we don’t have anyone in our Contact Manager yet, so we will just fill out the form. One of the really great things about this system is that as you send cards to people, they will automatically be added to your Contact Manager by filling out these fields and we never have to do it again!

By adding their Birthdays and Anniversaries, the Contact Manager will also send you a reminder e-mail 7 days in advance so you will never again forget someone’s special day.

Below this you will see that you are also able to select the date your card is sent.  This allows you to create cards in advance, but still have them arrive at the right time.  You can pick a date up to four years into the future.  Some people like to create all of their Birthday and Anniversary Cards for a given month at one time.

This feature is also great for businesses that want to send out cards automatically using a Card Campaign.  Card Campaigns are also really useful for sending out your holiday cards to a large list of people from your Contact Manager.

Below where you pick the send date, you can choose to send your card with a glossy finish. If you leave this unchecked your greeting card will be send with a matte finish. Postcards are always created with a glossy finish.

Lastly, you have the choice of Several Types of Inserts.

You can send Gifts: like Cookies, Candies, or Books.
Gift Cards: Like Barnes & Noble, iTunes, or American Express.
Daily 8 Tools are for sharing this system with others.
Or you can choose none to send the card just by itself in a First-Class stamped envelope.

You are now ready to click the “Preview Card” button, and this will take you to the Preview Page.  Due to compression of the large, high quality fonts and images for your computer screen, this page sometimes looks a little distorted, but don’t worry – your card will look great!

If you click anywhere in the text boxes, it will bring you to another page showing an enlarged version.  If you want to change anything in your card, click the “Back/Edit” Button and you can go back to the page we were just on to make any changes you want.

When you’re satisfied with your Personalized Greeting Card, click the “Send Card” Button.

So now you can see why we say Sending Cards is as Easy as 1,2,3!
